The Application of Ultrasonics to Wire Drawing
Abstract
A series of draws was performed on copper, aluminum, stainless steel and iron wire, both with and without an ultrasonic radiation environment. It was found that copper and iron responded favorably to ultrasonic environment, whereas the results with aluminum and stainless steel were inconclusive.
