DISPERSION STRENGTHENED NICK-ASE ALLOYS.

Abstract

A series of dispersion strengthened Nichrome thoria alloys prepared by mechanical mixing tech niques showed no mechanical property improvement relative to the base composition, Nichrome. Attempts at introducing the dispersion of thoria by decomposition of thorium nitrate onto Nichrome powder have been initiated. (Author)
