SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF HIGH PURITY METALS,

Abstract

This article deals with determination of trace elements contained in certain high-purity metals produced or consumed in Hungary. Determination may be accomplished with, or without separation of the spectrum of the basic metal and the very small amounts of other elements. Separation may be performed with separation of performance of the evaporation and ignition processes, suppres sion of the spectrum of the basic metal, chemical removal of the basic metal, or with color analysis by timing. The capacity, precision and utiliza tion possibilities of the individual methods are discussed. (Author)
