STATISTICALLY DESIGNED EXPERIMENT OF INTEGRAL CAPSULAR RELAYS SINGLE-POLE, DOUBLE-THROW ENGINEERING TEST MODELS.

Abstract

Test results and data analysis are presented for a statistically designed experiment to deter mine the effect of combined environmental test conditions on expected life of a single-pole, double-throw, contact module ''unimite'' relay. A response model was established and evaluated for use in predicting relay life expectancy at 80% survival (reliability) level. Work included life tests of 243 relays under various combina tions of 5 load levels and 5 operating environ mental conditions. (Author)
