CLASSIFICATION OF STATE DIAGRAMS,

Abstract

A tabulation is made of distinct state diagrams by number of vertices and of directed edges. Two state diagrams with unlabeled vertices and la beled edges are counted as the same if they are topologically equivalent. Furthermore, a state diagram is classified, according to its property, into whether ergodic or non-ergodic, and whether simple or compound. The conditions for a state diagram not to be ergodic are discussed. (Author)
