TIME SECTIONS OF THE ZONAL WINDS AT TROPICAL STATIONS.

Abstract

Three additional time sections of the monthly mean upper air winds were prepared for Leopold ville, Eniwetock, and Johnson Island. These graphs confirm the irregularity of the observed zonal wind directions in the tropical stratos phere, and show the complex relationship of the stratospheric to high troric westerlies. (Author)
