IBM 7090 FORTRAN PROGRAM FOR COMPUTING TEMPERA TURES IN A COMPOSITE SLAB,

Abstract

An IBM 7090 FORTRAN program has been written to compute linear heat flow in a 2-layer slab by means of an analytic solution. The temperatures computed are a function of both time and dis tance. Initial temperatures and heat generated are prescribed functions. Temperatures or heat flux can be given on either end. The equations used, the program, ae results are given. (Author)
