FORECAST STUDY FOR MYRTLE BEACH AIR FORCE BASE. FOG STUDY,

Abstract

An objective method for forecasting fog at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, South Carolina is given. The forecasting of late fall through early spring fog at Myrtle Beach was i gated and an objective method for forecasting formation of fog at this base was developed. Although each method has been tested on inde pendent data, actual on-the-spot evaluation will also be conducted during the fog season. (Author)
