SOME NETWORK PROPERTIES OF THE LARGE AREA PN JUNCTION.

Abstract

Reverse-biased large area PN junctions are used with integrated semiconductor circuits to perform network functions. This paper describes the net work properties of such junctions, utilizing an analytic technique hichallows the equency and transient response to be described directly in terms of material, geometry, bias and termination impedance. Fabrication of the junction and ex perimental verification of the theory are described. (Author)
