Diffusion of Silicon in Titanium, Tantalum, Molybdenum and Iron

Abstract

The formation on the surface of metals of solid silicide coatings, which are highly resistant to acids, molten salts and certain metals, have high heat resistance and antithermoemission properties, surface saturation by silicon is of great interest for modern technology.
