SOME OPERATING CONDITIONS OF A SINGLE-STAGE SELF-OSCILLATOR WITH DELAY.

Abstract

The operating conditions of the self-modulated oscillations of a single-stage oscillator with delay have been studied. The presence of sinusoidal and rectangular self-modulation, predicted by theory, was confirmed. It was demonstrated that besides asynchronous rela tionships between self-modulation frequencies and the carrier frequency, synchronous relation ships also are possible. The latter instance is illustrated by oscillograms. The operating conditions of double self-modulation caused by the joint action of the delay line and of inertial nonlinearity, as well as those of video pulse generation, were investigated. (Author)
