PROGRESSIVE RELIABILITY FUNCTIONS,

Abstract

This is concerned with the mathematical problem of calculating progressive reliability functions, given the underlying cumulative distribution. A graphical technique is developed for empirically given distributions. Formulas are developed for the exponential, normal, Weibull, gamma and log normal distributions. The method is illustrated in terms of a typical failure distribution. (Author)
