RADIATION FROM A CHARGED PARTICLE PASSING THROUGH A CIRCULAR OPENING IN A PERFECTLY CONDUCTING SCREEN,

Abstract

The radiation arising in the passage of a charged particle in uniform straight motion through a circular opening in an ideally conducting plane screen, normal to the particle path, is investi gated. The exact solution of the problem is found, in terms of spheroidal functions. (Author)
