A PRELIMINARY INTERPRETATION OF MASS,

Abstract

An I.S.U. 7 in algebraic hierarchy was formulated by A. F. Parker-Rhodes without any physical interpretation. We assume now that particular hierarchy of His general type corresponds to a proton or an electron in certain circumstances the whole hierarchy being necessary to represent the whole complex of observations of it. The present paper starts from this assumption and in it we apply constraints to the process of hierarchy construction in such a way that we can decompose hierarchy into 2 independent parts for the purpose of representing unstable parti cles that disintegrate into at least 2 decay products.
