THE TEMPERATURE CALCULATION OF AN ORTHOTROPIC PLATE WITH TRANSVERSE SHEAR TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION

Abstract

A rectangular orthotropic plate of constant thickness h referred to rectangular cartesian coordinates is examined. The coordinate plane xoy is combined with the average plane of an undeformed plate, the coordinate axes are directed along the principal directions of elasticity of the plate material, and the coordinate origin is set at one of the apexes of the plate. The deformation factors and the thermal coefficients of expansion are considered as given functions of temperature T, changing according to a known law.
