REALIZATION OF TRANSISTOR GYRATORS,

Abstract

The fundamental objective of the subject contract has been the realization of a two-port, consisting of transistors and lumped constant circuit elements, and having the properties of an ideal gyrator. Realization of gyrator operation was achieved at a nominal frequency of 1 kc. following an approach utilizing two transistorized negative impedance converters. Theoretical investigation of the circuit used and experimental verification of its predicted characteristics appear to indicate the distinct possibility of transistor gyrator realization in the video signal range.
