FLARED-CONE PROJECTED AREAS

Abstract

Formulas are presented for the calculation of the projected areas of arbitrary, axially symmetric surface sections for a flared-cone figure. The formulas apply to aspect angles ranging from 0 to 90 degrees, measured from the symmetry axis. Derivations are included.
