A TECHNIQUE FOR OBTAINING TRUE DIMENSIONS FROM PHOTOGRAPHS,

Abstract

A technique is presented for obtaining actual dimensions of objects shown in photographs. Unit calibration depends upon a knowledge of the optics system involved or, in a given photograph, the availability of an object of known dimensions. (Author)
