PROJECTED AREAS OF AXIALLY SYMMETRIC SURFACE SECTIONS FOR SEVERAL GEOMETRIC FIGURES,
Abstract
Equations permitting the calculation of the projected areas of arbitrary, axially symmetric surface bands are derived for the cone, sphere section, and cylinder. The equations apply to viewing angles ranging from 0 to 90 degrees, measured from the symmetry axes. (Author)
