THEORETICAL INVESTIGATION OF THE APPLICABILITY OF A DUAL-FREQUENCY RADAR SYSTEM TO THE STUDY OF CONVECTIVE LIQUID PRECIPITATION,

Abstract

Two radars of 10.3-cm (WSR/TAM-1) and 3.2-cm (AN/CPS-9) wave length were combined to form a dual-frequency system. The applicability of this system to the study of convective liquid precipitation is investigated. (Author)
