SOME RESULTS ON DESIGNS FOR REGRESSION EXPERI MENTS, DESIGN OF EXPERIMENTS WITH AUTOCORRELATED ERRORS PRESENT, AND DECISION THEORY APPROACH TO COMPLEX EXPERIMENTATION

Abstract

Results of research conducted in the statistical design of complex experimental programs are reviewed. Included are discussions of the loss function methods for determining regression designs to minimize cost and variance, the design of experiments with autocorrelated errors and applications of decision theory and dynamic programming to the design of reliability growth programs.
