The MA-5 engine and laboratory test results for the increased-capacity sustainer lube oil tank are described. The tank capacity was increased by approximately 2 gallons to extend the duration from the present 300-second minimum to a 346-second minimum. The tests were con ducted to verify hardware integrity and system compatibility. The additional evaluation items which were included in the engine test program are briefly described. (Author)
