ASSOCIATIVE MEMORY COMPUTERS FROM THE PROGRAMMING POINT OF VIEW,

Abstract

The cocept of associative memory is studied, with attention to the effects on computer design and the likelihood of implementation in the present or near future. The writers examine critically the views of all associative memory investigators known to them. Particular attention is paid to the programming implications of associative memory, and the ideas are tested through a detailed study of three programming problems chosen from widely separated areas.
