THE ACOUSTICAL PROPERTIES OF COMPACTED SCHOOLS OF FISH,

Abstract

An estimate is made of the scattering power of a compacted school of fish. It is estimated that reflecting power is proportional to the inverse fourth power of the frequency for frequencies above 10 kc. Resonant scattering may be ex pected below 1 kc. (Author)
