Abstract

This report describes the results obtained for the following experiments: (1) The pressure dependence of ionization by relativistic elec trons. (2) Ionization by relativistic particles in helium-hydrogen gas mixtures. (3) Investiga tion of the operation of secondary emission monitors. (4) Direct electron-positron pair production by 150 MeV electrons. (5) Investiga tion of the density effect in C, Al, Fe, Cu, Ni, Ag, Ta, and Au. (Author)
