Abstract

The results of the most recent investigations in the field of radiation biochemistry are summar ized in this monograph. The major part of the authors' attention is devoted to the change in and disruption of metabolic processes which de velop in the central nervous system, the endoc rine glands, the gastrointestinal tract, the liver, and the muscles after the action of ionizing radiation on the living organism.
