Abstract

A study of high energy nuclear interactions was made using a 20 litre block of nuclear research emulsion flown to 115,000 ft for 6 1/2 hours over Holloman A.F.B., New Mexico, an array of 64 large plastic scintillators, 600 G.M. counters and four Wilson Cloud Chambers in Sydney, Australia and two Wilson Cloud Chambers on Sulphur Mountain, Alberta, Canada.
