USE OF OPTICAL MASERS IN DISPLAYS AND PRINTERS.

Abstract

High-speed deflection of light beams by digital and analog techniques were investigated. For the digital light deflector, power consumption was determined semitransparent electrodes were valuated, and a bread-board model was con structed. Analog deflection using conical refraction was temporarily suspended due to lack of crystals. The work on Fresnel lenses progressed with respect to the fabrication of photo-etched electrodes.
