THE DEVELOPMENT OF OPTIMUM MANUFACTURING METHODS FOR COLUMBIUM ALLOY SHEET.

Abstract

This report summarizes processing of columbium alloy sheet. Two 8-in.- diameter ingots of D-43 alloy (Cb-10W-IZr-0.1C, previously designated X-110) have been processed to 24 in. wide sheet panels in three gages, 0.012, 0.018, and 0.030 inches. Details of sheet conversion and evalua tion of properties are reported. (Author)
