A SURVEILLANCE MODEL: TWO MACHINE CASE,

Abstract

Presented is an economic model for the surveil lance of a production pro The process con sists of a single machine with two components or of two machines. The output of the process is a single stream of goods. At each instant the distribution of the quality of the output depends on the current state of the two components. These components are assumed to be statistically independent. Considered is a ''continuous surveillance'' where it is possible to observe the production process without cost at all times of production. (Author)
