FREQUENCY TUNING BY PARAMAGNETIC RESONANCE,

Abstract

Work was begun to determine the feasibility of using the nuclear magnetic resonance phenomenon in a tunable, variable bandpass filter in the 3 to 30 Mc range. Various parameters of the NMR phenomenon were surveyed in the light of the desired filter characteristics, and lines of ap proach were decided upon. Equipment has been designed and assembled to permit a flexible test program to be carried out. (Author)
