Abstract

Additional progress has been made in the preparation of low resistance homogeneous membranes, using polystyrene sulfonic acid as the polyelectrolyte through the use of epoxide and divinyl benzene-styrene cross-linking agents. Numerous mosaic membranes have been synthesized and their electro-osmotic water transport characteristics evaluated. (Author)
