INFRA-RED DISPERSION STUDIES: PART I, DICHLORO-, DIBROMO-, AND DIIODOMETHANE,

Abstract

Dispersion measurements were carried out between 2 and 20 microns on dichloromethane, dibromo methane and diiodomethane. From the refractive index data obtained, vibrational band intensities were calculated thus avoiding the difficulties involved in the direct measurement of band intensities in the liquid phase.
