NOISE SENSITIVITY IN PROBABILITY STATE VARIABLE DEVICES,

Abstract

An experiment was performed on a self-organizing machine called the LANNET. An investigation of the machine's ability to recognize noise in patterns that had been organized to 100% was ac complished. Simplified ARTRON theory was pre sented with the use of flow diagrams. The ex perimenta was tabulated. An analysis was performed on the results to include confidence limits. An interpretation based on the analysis forms the conclusion drawn from the experiment and recommendations are made for further investigations. (Author)
