PEM - SOLID-STATE MICROWAVE TR-ATR SWITCH.
Abstract
Efforts were continued on the establishment of a PEM for a lkw solid-state X-band microwave TR-ATR switch as utilized in a balanced duplexer configuration. Efforts were concentrated toward improving electrical performance of the microwave TR-ATR switch with particular emphasis on the recovery time. Tighter selection specification of diodes have resulted in a marked improvement in performance. Also, new types of PIN diodes were investigated and show promise with respect to insuring overall performance. Continuing efforts to establish reliability over a prolonged period of time have permitted the life testing of duplexer assemblies with recovery time improvement circuitry. (Author)
