RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUTOMATIC BORANE MONITOR.

Abstract

A portable, continuous automatic flame emission pentaborane-in-air monitor has been developed having a sensitivity of 10 parts per billion. The technique has been found to be comparatively interference free and to be unaffected by momentary high concentrations of volatile materials. Details of the instrumentation and electronics developments and details of calibration and interference tests are given. (Author)
