A VERTICAL TAUT MOORED SYSTEM FOR SEQUENTIAL DETONATION OF EXPLOSIVE CHARGES,

Abstract

A system for the electrical detonation in series of a group of charges attached to a taut moored cable in deep water is described. A5 preliminary study of chain detonation as well as the problem of cable damage in the vicinity of shots is included. The accuracy of charge locations for long-range fluctuation studies is discussed, and cable catenaries are examined. (Author)
