RELIABILITY MEASUREMENT SYSTEM FOR THE SERIES E AND F ATLAS WEAPON SYSTEM,

Abstract

This report provides a system for measuring reliability of the Series E and F Atlas Weapon System during standby, countdown and flight modes of operation. Apparent trend indices are developed for subsystem and system reliability and for system alert readiness. Graphical and statistical methods for analyzing trend indices are discussed. Prediction techniques, statistical estimates and methods for determining the distribution of data based upon empirical data are shown. A computer program to calculate measures delineated in the report is outlined. The detailed computer program and flow charts are furnished in a separate referenced report. (Author)
