AN ECONOMICAL AUTOMATIC DIFFERENTIAL THERMAL ANALYSIS SYSTEM,

Abstract

An automatic differential thermal analysis system is described. A novel pulse-generator circuit driving a combination of a motor-driven autotransformer and an electric furnace produces a linear heating rate which can be varied from about 1 C/min to 6 C/min, from room temperature to 1200 C. The operating details required to produce these conditions are discussed. (Author)
