NEGATIVE ION BEAM NEUTRALIZATION.

Abstract

An analysis is made of the experimental apparatus set up to determine beam fractions of positive and negative hydrogen ions and neutral hydrogen atoms which result from the collisional interaction of 1-3 Mev negative hydrogen ions with a rare gas target. A preliminary analysis is made of the relativistic distribution function for a charged particle beam by the use of the Baltzmann equation. (Author)
