AN EXAMINATION OF SOME DISTRIBUTION-FREE METHODS PERTINENT TO STAGE OUTPUT ANALYSIS,

Abstract

The present paper is concerned with distributionfree methods pertinent to STAGE output analysis and the sampling of model runs for validity. Location, Dispersion, Point Estimation, Confidence Intervals, and Tests of Hypotheses relating to distribution-free statistics are considered. These considerations are followed by a section dealing with methods for examining model runs for validity and a section relating to the problem of sample size or number of replications. (Author)
