WONDER-CAMERA,

Abstract

Development is reported of a high speed motion picture camera capable of making pictures with a frequency of hundreds of millions of frames per second. With the aid of motion picture camera RKS-2, pictures can be taken of discharges of pulsed light sources, spark discharges and other processes, by means of small structural optical gratings and rotating mirrors to transmit the image to the stationary photo plate. It is noted that the rate of motion of the raster image reaches 15000 meters/sec. (Author)
