MAGNETIC DETECTION EQUIPMENT TEST,

Abstract

Two three-component electromagnetic detectors were placed 5.3 miles from ground zero to monitor the electromagnetic field of the event. Field strengths from 4.7 times 10 to the -8 amp-turns/ meter to 6.2 times 10 to the 6th amp-turns/meter, in the frequency range of 1 to 4,500 cps, were to have been recorded on magnetic tape. No signals were recorded. (Author)
