AN-24: OPERATIONAL FEATURES,

Abstract

The mass intoduction of the An-24 designated for scheduled flights on medium and short-distance routes signifies the completion of one of the most important steps in the technical progress of transport aircraft. There is talk about replacement of the piston-type I1-14, I1-12 and Li-2 with modern turboprop high-speed aircraft on intra-republic, intra-area (oblast), and in the future, on inter-area routes.
