THE SUBSTITUTION OF PLASTICS FOR METALS IN THE FABRICATION OF MOLDS USED IN SOLID PROPELLANT RESEARCH,

Abstract

This report details the development of procedures for the fabrication of silicone resin molds for use in the casting of solid propellant samples for various tests. It is a process that is not only economically advantageous but produces plastic molds decidedly superior to their metal counter-parts. (Author)
