URINARY ELIMINATION OF CATECHOLAMINES AS AN INDICATION OF STRESS RESPONSE IN MAN.

Abstract

Results of the present investigation show that the urinary output of catecholamines cannot be used as a practical index to estimate the work stress imposed on an individual. The ratio FFA/glucose in the blood appears to be a more reliable and sensitive index under standardized conditions. (Author)
