AN EXTERNAL CRACK PROBLEM WITH ASYMMETRICAL LOADING,

Abstract

Considered is the problem of determining the distribution of stress in an infinite elastic solid containing an external crack which is opened by the application of an assymmetrical pressure. Throughout, it is assumed that the equations of the classical (infinitesimal) theory of elasticity hold. (Author)
