DESIGN, DEVELOP, AND EVALUATE A HIGH-POWER INTEGRAL CIRCUITED TETRODE FOR 215 MEGACYCLE OPERATION.

Abstract

The subject program encompasses the design, development, and evaluation of a high-power integral circuited tetrode. The primary objective of this program is the achievement of 825 kilowatt minimum peak power output over a 10 percent frequency band and the delivery of one tube of a stabilized design and one tube of the finalized design. The program objective was revised to delete the requirement of environmental testing and to revise the delivery of tubes to three tubes of the finalized design. These three tubes shall be constructed to embrace features of shock and vibration. This report covers the above-mentioned modification and describes the work performed, and the second and third tubes, and the test evaluation of the second tube. (Author)
