EQUATORIAL ORBIT COMPUTATION,

Abstract

A computer program is described which calculates ephemerides of Earth satellites moving in equatorial or nearly-equatorial orbits and corrects the orbital elements. Perturbations caused by the asphericity of the Earth defined by the second zonal harmonic coefficient, and by atmospheric drag are represented. Included are the formulation, flow charts, input formats and program operating instructions. (Author)
