SPECIFICATION FOR THE AMR R + D CALIBRATION AND CERTIFICATION PRESSURE TEST SET - BTS-96,

Abstract

This specification document presents the design criteria information necessary for the fabrication and installation design of a pressure transducer calibration facility in the AMR Calibration and Certification Lab. In Hangar I. This facility, outlined herein, will provide the capability of: (1) checking the calibration of the pad and silo instrumentation transducers prior to installation, (2) confirm the airborne transducer performance suspected of out-oftolerance operation, (3) test and/or calibrate transducers which may arrive without prior calibration due to expeditious action to support a flight, (4) confirm proper operation of spare stocks, (5) recycle ground instrumentation transducers for use on succeeding firings, and (6) support for the calibration of the telemetry calibration carts.
